Man arrested for wearing attire similar to Security Forces during protest

A man who had worn an attire similar to the security forces of Sri Lanka during a public protest in June has been arrested.

According to reports, the man was seen wearing an attire comprising of both the Sri Lanka Police and Military. 

He had worn the attire during a protest that was staged in front of the Police Headquarters in Fort on 09th June.

The Colombo Fort Police arrested the man on charges of wearing attire similar to the uniform of the security forces and engaging in an unlawful assembly. (NewsWire)
