Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has reiterated the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) party’s commitment to supporting all progressive initiatives via the parliamentary committee system.

The SJB and Opposition Leader expressed his commitment during a meeting with President Ranil Wickremesinghe today. 

In a Twitter message, MP Premadasa said that the SJB engaged in a forthright amicable discussion with President Ranil Wickremesinghe on the challenges faced by the country. 

He further said the party also re-emphasized its commitment to support all progressive initiatives via the parliamentary committee system.

The SJB also stressed its grave reservations on the use of the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) as state policy, MP Premadasa added. (NewsWire)
