CPC trade unions to launch massive protest tomorrow

Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekara says that Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) trade unions affiliated to all political parties are to oppose the proposed reforms to the CPC.

He further said that he had already met all trade unions, discussed proposed reforms & conveyed its importance them.

Meanwhile, a protest organized by the trade union is scheduled to take place opposite the CPC premises tomorrow, against the proposed reforms.

Minister Kanchana Wijesekera reiterated that the CPC reforms are a must & that he will continue to work to implement it. (NewsWire)
