Minister of Energy Kanchana Wijesekera has lodged a complaint with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) against the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited (CPSTL).

In his complaint, the Minister calls on the CID to launch investigations into the activities of the CPC and the CPSTL.

He further said that he has requested an investigation into fuel procurement, evaluation of proposals, non-placement of orders, selection of suppliers, delays in payments, distribution irregularities, and allegations made by individuals. (NewsWire)
