A Polish national has been arrested by Sri Lanka Customs for attempting to smuggle 5Kg of Cocaine.
The suspect had landed in Katunayake Airport from Doha.
The Suspect has been handed over to the Police for further investigation.
“A polish national with 5kg of Cocaine concealed in his baggage has been arrested by the officers attached to Narcotics Control Unit of Sri Lanka Customs. Total value of the cocaine estimated as Rs 245 million” Sri Lanka Customs said in a statement. (NewsWire)
