The Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) will soon release detailed advertisements inviting applications pertaining to the operations of 50 new fuel stations, Managing Director Manoj Gupta said.

In a Twitter message, Gupta expressed gratitude to the Government of Sri Lanka for granting approval for the LIOC to operate 50 more fuel stations islandwide.

Commenting on the new fuel stations, Gupta said, “the investment on tanks, DUs, and equipment shall be ours while the land and infrastructure cost will be from the dealers’ end”.

The Lanka IOC Managing Director added that the land will either be owned or leased by the applicant. (NewsWire)
