Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Kesbewa Electorate Organizer Gayan De Mel has been granted bail after being arrested earlier today.

The SJB member was arrested by the Piliyandala Police in connection to six incidents of violence that were reported in the Piliyandala area during the public unrest on 09th May. 

Gayan De Mel was released on bail after being produced before the Piliyandala Magistrate’s Court today (8). (NewsWire)
