Sajith says no to ministerial positions, perks and privileges

President Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday held discussions with the main opposition party, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) on forming an all-party government.

“Agreed to work through an empowered system of parliamentary committees. Positive about joining forces for the sake of the country. Shall do so without ministerial positions, perks and privileges,” Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa tweeted after the meeting.
