The Ministry of Energy has issued the requirements for the registration of vehicles of Government institutions, other organizations, and businesses for the National Fuel Pass.

Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said that the relevant institution must register each vehicle with a separate Mobile number, National Identity card (NIC), Passport or Business Registration Number of the vehicle driver, or any user of the vehicle on the National Fuel Pass QR system.

He further said that from the 12th of August, the institutions with multiple vehicles will be able to register with One BRN or Code Assigned to them and with just one specific mobile number for all their vehicles.
