The Department of Labour has introduced an online system to download the A, B, and H card forms to register employees for the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF).

The regular practice is for employers to obtain the relevant form from the Labour Department’s head office or branch office and later hand over the completed form for each employee to the Labour Department.

Taking into consideration the current situation in the country, the process has been simplified with the Labour Department offering the forms on its official website, where they could be downloaded.

Employers can download the form from the Labour Department’s official website and thereafter hand over the completed form to the department to register its employees.

Announcing the introduction of the online system, the Labour Department said employers do not require to visit the Labour Department or its branch officers to obtain the relevant forms.

The Labour Department together with the Ministry of Foreign Employment intends to digitalize the process in the near future.
