Social media activist Pathum Kerner has been arrested in connection to the public protest that was held near the Parliament on 13th July.

Pathum Kerner was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) today. 

He has been arrested in connection to the unruly incidents that had occurred at the entry road to the Parliament near the Polduwa Junction during the protest.

The public had staged a mass public protest against the government urging for the resignation of then President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. (NewsWire)
