Minister of Foreign Employment Manusha Nanayakkara has given an update on number of people who have registered for Foreign jobs in Sri Lanka for the current year.

As per the Minister, as at 23rd July 2022 21:42 pm, 166,719 individuals have registered with the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment.

Sri Lanka is looking to promote foreign employment as well as remittances through legal channels to boost its forex revenue, to purchase essential items such as food, medicine and fuel. (NewsWire)
