An individual has died after falling from an apartment complex on Vivekananda Road in Wellawatte this morning. 

The Police said that the deceased has been identified as a 37-year-old resident of Mahiyanganaya. 

Investigations have revealed that the deceased had been employed as a painter at the four-floor apartment complex which is under construction. 

The man had reportedly fallen from the fourth-floor staircase to the first floor. 

The Wellawatte Police is conducting further investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
