Whatever the outcome of today’s election, it is very important that we accept it as the will of Parliament and move forward.

The longer we debate it, the longer we prevent our country from asking the more important questions- How do we prevent this from repeating?

whoever is elected, we must demand the following:

1. Abolish the Executive Presidency.

2. Reform our Electoral System – introducing a mixed system of First Past the Post and Proportional Representation (smaller electorates but also more, respectful and better quality MPs).

3. Reform the Elections Law so that political parties can be easily registered.

4. Fix the economy.

5. Commit to General Elections and a Referendum at the earliest (SATAKAYA)
