Bus fare reduced after fuel price reduction : Minimum Rs 38

Bus fares are to be reduced by 2.23% in Sri Lanka with effect from midnight today, the National Transport Commission (NTC) announced. 

The NTC said thereby, that the minimum bus fare will be Rs. 38, a reduction of Rs. 2 from the earlier minimum bus fare of Rs. 40.

The reduction in bus fares comes following the recent reduction of Rs. 20 in fuel prices. (NewsWire)
