President will resign today, New President on 20th – Speaker

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has informed me that he will send his resignation letter within today, Speaker of the Parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena said today. 

Addressing the media, the Speaker further said that a new President will be elected on the 20th in Parliament as announced earlier. (NewsWire)
