A curfew will be imposed in the Colombo district from 12 noon today, the Government Information Department announced. 

The Government Information Department said the curfew will be in effect until 05.00 am tomorrow (15). 

The directive to impose a curfew in Colombo has been issued by acting President and current Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. (NewsWire)
