Emigration and immigration officers of the Silk Route departure terminal at the Katunayake airport have withdrawn from duties when former Minister Basil Rajapaksa arrived there to leave the country.

“Subsequently it is reported that Basil Rajapaksa has turned back” Ada Derana reported.

It’s reported that officials have also refused to check in the former Minister Basil Rajapaksa due to protests by passengers. (NewsWire)
