A video has emerged in social media of some individuals recovering a large sum of money from an unidentified location

Hiru News reported that a sum of approximately Rs. 17,850,000 recovered by the protesters who entered the president’s house had been handed over to the OIC of Fort Police station.

Issuing a statement Young Journalists Association has questioned why a proper communication has not been done from the Police side regarding the video and the money recovered.
