Sri Lankan protesters have gone inside President’s house

Anti-government protesters today stormed the President’s official residence through Janathipathi Mawatha in Fort, Colombo.

The group includes representatives of various trade unions as well as the general public. 

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is reportedly not at the official residence and his whereabouts are unknown.

Large crowds have gathered in several parts of Colombo to show their displeasure against the President and his government over the current crises in the country.  (NewsWire)
