25-year-old killed in fuel station clash

One person died following a clash between two groups waiting in a queue leading to a fuel station in Maha Galle in Galle. 

Three others had also been seriously injured in the clash that had taken place last night. 

The injured persons have been admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital and the deceased has been identified as a 25-year-old resident of Yatagala, Habaraduwa. 

The incident occurred after a group waiting in the queue had opposed a person who had cut into the fuel queue by entering through the parking space in front of his friend’s store.

Three people who were waiting in queue and a person from the group that had arrived to engage in the brawl had been hospitalized with serious injuries, after which one person died. (NewsWire)
