Hirunika launches protest near President’s house

Former MP Hirunika Premachandra has launched a protest near the President’s official residence in Fort.

Hirunika accompanied by a few women and men is engaged in the protest to show displeasure over the current economic crisis in Sri Lanka. 

Stating that people were suffering due to the hardships faced as a result of the economic crisis, she called on the President to step outside and meet her instead of joking around in the Parliament. (NewsWire)
