Sri Lanka exports record 5-billion-dollar mark in five months

Sri Lanka exports recorded the USD 5 billion Dollar mark in the first five months of 2022.

The Export Development Board said earnings from the merchandise exports increased to USD 980.2 million in May as per Sri Lanka Customs data. 

This was mainly due to the increase in earnings from the export of Apparel and Textiles, Coconut based products, and Electrical and Electronic Components. (NewsWire)
